IBM's DB2,
Informix SE (now a part of IBM),
Microsoft's SQL Server,
Sybase IQ,
solidDB,
Borland's InterBase,
Software AG's Adabas, ..while smaller shops might want to explore lesser known but surprisingly powerful (yet free) solutions like
SAP DB,
HypersonicSQL,
GigaBase,
FastDB or even
GNU SQL.
